About Us Goblet Direct is a division of Michael Virden Engraved Glass Ltd. MVEG Ltd was established in 1972 and was registered as a limited company in 1979. MVEG Ltd has grown from a small business operating from two rooms in the founders home to the widely respected business that it is today.

We supply numerous household names and the company repertoire has expanded to now include glass and china decoration by ceramic transfer and bespoke gilding, as well as the more traditional engraved items. Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit and debit card payments by Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta and Solo. We will not charge you for any item until we are ready to despatch your order. Alternatively you can send a cheque to the above address. Where providing payment by any method other than through our secure server please provide your name, address, telephone number and order reference with your payment details or cheque. Where payment is made by cheque, we will not despatch your order until the cheque has cleared into our bank account.
Shipping And Handling
UK Mainland Postage
It is very important to us that your order arrives in perfect condition. All items will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and boxed, or wrapped in bubblewrap. The goods will then be placed into an outer box and surrounded with polystyrene chips or air bags before being despatched.

CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR DELIVERIES
We are closed for business from 1pm on Friday 21st December 2007 until Wednesday 2nd January 2008. Any orders received during that period will be processed on Wednesday 2nd January and despatched week commencing Monday 7th January 2008

If you wish you can collect your order from our factory in North Walsham by prior arrangment only. Please email customerservice@gobletdirect.co.uk for further information.

Overseas Postage
On orders delivered anywhere outside mainland UK and Northern Ireland, postage is charged at cost charged to us to mail to each country, plus nominal packaging. We will calculate the cost of delivery and email you with the total charge for your order. If we do not receive an instruction to cancel the order within 48 hours we will proceed with despatching your order and will charge the amounts quoted in the email regarding delivery. This will be sent after the auto-generated email that you should receive immediately after placing your order.

Postage to orders on BFPOs will be charged at the rate charged to us by the British Forces Post Office, or by our International Carriers.

Delivery Schedule CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR DELIVERIES

UK Inland orders should be received within 3-5 working days - during very busy periods or when items are out of stock, despatch may be slightly longer. You will be notified promptly if any item is delayed.
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you.
Tax Charges All prices include VAT at 17.5% and this is chargeable on all orders within the European Union. For orders originating outside the EU the VAT will be deducted from the cost of the goods. For further information please email sales@gobletdirect.co.uk.
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Privacy Policy Goblet Direct do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.
Returns Policy We expect that you will be delighted with your goods, however if for any reason you are not, provided that you return an item within fourteen days, in good condition, we will be happy to refund the original price of the item or send you an exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please complete the return details on the packing slip and include it with the item. We regret that delivery and packaging are direct costs and cannot be refunded. When returning items to us please obtain a certificate of posting (available free of charge from the Post Office). Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival, provided that all items are received back by us in good condition. Items that are received by us broken will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event that your goods are damaged on arrival we will arrange for a carrier to collect the goods and return them to us and we will then replace them free of charge without delivery charges. Please ensure that the items are returned to us in their original packaging with the completed returns section of the packing slip enclosed.
